SMP LED SM Outdoor dual-white

The SMP LED FP Outdoor dual-white is a weatherproof potted LED module for backlit outdoor applications with variable colour temperature. Combines warm white 3000K and cool white 6500K Nichia LEDs on a single board — colour temperature continuously adjustable via a separate dual-colour controller. Protection class IP65, fully potted in an aluminium channel.

Available in four lengths: 238mm (6 LEDs, 2.5W per colour), 475mm (12 LEDs, 5.0W per colour), 750mm (18 LEDs, 7.5W per colour), 950mm (24 LEDs, 10.0W per colour). Luminous flux up to 1200 lumens, beam angle >175°. Module spacing of up to 18cm possible with a depth of only 5cm.

Mounting via double-sided adhesive tape for pre-fixing, permanent attachment via side screw holes in the end caps. Cables factory-soldered. Requires a dedicated dual-colour controller for colour temperature control.

Modules are supplied pre-soldered in chains of 10. The 5cm installation depth allows use even in shallow-depth outdoor light boxes.

Can I use the modules in freezing temperatures?

Yes. The fully potted construction is designed for temperature fluctuations and moisture. IP65 protection ensures continuous operation in outdoor environments.

What is the maximum spacing between modules?

A maximum of 17cm with a 5cm installation depth for uniform illumination. Larger spacing will result in visible differences in brightness.
